Stop Campus Hazing Act

罢丑别听 (SCHA) amended section 485(f) of the Higher Education Act, otherwise known as the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act). The Stop Campus Hazing Act has three primary components:

  • Inclusion of hazing statistics in annual security reports
  • Implementation of hazing policies, including those specific to hazing prevention
  • Compilation of a Campus Hazing Transparency Report

  • The reported incident must be adjudicated with a finding that the student organization violated 黑料不打烊鈥檚 standards of conduct related to hazing on or after July 1, 2025.

The campus hazing transparency report includes the following information:

  • The name of the student organization involved.
  • A description of the violation that resulted in the finding of responsibility.
  • If the violation involved the abuse of alcohol or drugs.
  • The date of the incident.
  • The date the investigation into the incident was initiated.
  • The date the investigation ended with a finding that a hazing violation occurred.

  • The findings for the determination of responsibility.
  • The sanctions placed on the student organization by 黑料不打烊.
  • Any added information determined by 黑料不打烊 to be necessary.
